Acolyte Training, this Sunday!

There will be a thirty minute acolyte training session for all acolytes this Sunday, April 2, 2017, immediately following our 9:30 am service. This training is intended for both new and existing acolytes of all ages!

Guest Speaker Khadijo Abdulkadir at Grace Syracuse this Sunday

This Sunday, April 2nd, we we welcome Somalian Refugee, Khadijo Abdulkadir as a guest speaker at our Service at Grace Syracuse.

Khadijo is a former refugee from the largest refugee camp in Dhadhaab, Kenya. She has spent the last 4 years helping rese lement agencies, such as Interfaith Works, as well as refugees and immigrants self-empowerment (RISE). Recently, she has helped create Women’s Empowerment Group which works to empower women refugees in central New York. Women’s Empowerment Group has taught women refuges the skills needed to acquire and retain jobs, earn promotions, assume leadership positions in community organizations, and advocate on behalf of other refugees.
