Since the 1960s, Grace has been committed to social justice work. We collect supplies for city school students, household good for new Americans, and money for Vera House. We distribute food at the Food Center, deliver meals to shut-ins, honor victims of violence and hate; and create hygiene kits for women around the world.
Several years ago, we sponsored the Grace Project, which offered mentoring to incarcerated youth and helped end solitary confinement in Onondaga County.
Grace Church wants our church space to be a service to our community. Our lounge is used almost daily for meetings of Alcoholics and Narcotics Anonymous. Our fellowship hall is available for community meals, parties, large meetings, rehearsals, and other events. Our restaurant-quality, certified kitchen is available for cooking classes and meal preparation. Office space is available for organizations with a social justice mission. Our sanctuary can be used for concerts, weddings and funerals.
