Tea, Coffee and Conversation on Monday Nights

bishop spongOn Monday nights, from 5:30pm – 7:00pm, you are welcome to join us at Grace Church as we read and discuss “Biblical Literalism: The Gentile Heresy” by Bishop Spong.

In this book, Bishop Spong examines the gospel of Mathew and it’s relationship to the Jewish festivals and synagogue life. As always, he brings a fresh perspective on how to understand the gospels.

It promises to be some great discussion as we share tea, coffee and big ideas! We will meet at the Grace Cafe for six weeks!

The 2016 ACTS Banquet

Thanks to all who were able to attend the 2016 ACTS Banquet on Tuesday, April 19th where we heard a very inspiring speech by Yusuf Abdul-Qadir of the Central New York Chapter of the New York Civil Liberties Union.

Please click the link below and look for descriptions of the current Task Forces through which ACTS seeks to advance its agenda to promote equality and justice.  Please review these descriptions, pick out an area you are interested in, and become active in the work of ACTS.  If you have questions, ask Mike Hungerford.
