Grace Church’s Food Pantry is Blessed with Donations from Syracuse Stage

For nearly 10 years, Syracuse Stage has donated food collected during their Annual Food Drive to our Food Pantry.

Food Pantry Delivery from Stage

We extend our gratitude to Tracey White for organizing the food drive, to Don Buschmann and Donna Stuccio for delivering the food this morning to our Food Pantry, and to the countless individuals who contributed food to the Stage’s food drive.

Don Buschmann and Donna Stuccio

Your abundant generosity is greatly appreciated by our congregation and those in need who come to our pantry!

We’d also like to extend many thanks to the local farm who dropped off the boxes of greens to the pantry as well!

The Grace Food Pantry is open on Thursdays, from 9am-11:30am.  However, during the Christmas holiday, the Food Pantry will be closed on December 24, 2015.

It will be open on Tuesday, December 22nd, 2015 from 9 AM to 11:30 AM and Thursday, December 31st, 2015 from 9 AM to 11:30 AM.

Please call the Interreligious Food Consortium at (315)-474-8855 with any immediate needs during this time.

Donations of Turkeys and Roasting Chickens Needed

dinnerThis past Thanksgiving, our Food Pantry Ministry Team provided an unprecedented 42 meals to our clients.  Heartfelt thanks to all who donated items to our pantry.  And, special thanks to those who donate their time to serve in our pantry.

Make someone’s Christmas extra special by donating a frozen turkey or whole roasting chicken to our Food Pantry.  Kindly bring a turkey or chicken to church on Sunday or drop it off at the church on a weekday.  (Please call 478-0901 to make sure someone is here).  In addition, plan to spread some warmth this Christmastide by donating hats, scarfs, mittens, or socks to our pantry.  All items will be given to those in need.  Items for donation may be placed in the Food Pantry basket in front of our altar.  Thank you – your generosity is appreciated!
